Oxford CMI-153/250 Portable Coating and Plating Thickness Gauge
The CMI-153 and CMI-250 feature dual measurement
technology that automatically detects either ferrous or
non-ferrous substrates and then employs either magnetic
induction or eddy-current technology.
Useful in a wide variety of settings, the CMI-153 and CMI-250
measure non-conductive coatings over non-ferrous
substrates (primarily Al, Cu as close to 100% IACS
conductivity is required) and non-magnetic coatings over
ferrous substrates. The systems are specially designed to
handle the needs of platers, coaters, and quality
professionals.
The CMI-250 additionally provides automatic temperature
compensation, base corrections, measurement storage
options, date and time stamping, statistical analysis, and USB
PC connectivity
These gauges provide an ideal metrology solution for Coating
Inspectors, Electroplating Plants, Painting Contractors,
Automotive & Aerospace Finishers
