The Haake RS6000 is rotational or dynamic rheometer specifically designed for quality
control and research of fluids, slurries, pastes, gels, creams, suspensions, and polymer
melts.
The instrument is modular regarding temperature control systems, ranging from liquid
temperature controlled cylinder systems to Peltier temperature controlled parallel or cone
and plate systems to electrically heated high temperature capability.
The modular HAAKE RheoStress 6000 combines proven technology with the latest
development of high end rheometer technology used in the Thermo Scientific HAAKE MARS
rheometer platform. This makes it easier to upgrade to the new generation in Rheology
without making as large of an investment.
The HAAKE RheoStress 6000 is fully compatible with existing accessories of previous
RheoStress models like Thermo Scientific HAAKE RheoStress 600, 300, 150 and 100. A
variety of temperature control units are available to reliably and accurately handle
temperatures ranging from -80°C up to 500°C. Peltier, electrical or liquid temperature
control units for coaxial cylinders, plate/plate and cone/plate are available as well as a wide
range of geometries and application oriented measuring cells.

The RS6000 is computer controlled using the RheoWin software and provides flow curves,
yield points, time curves, temperature curves, and dynamic frequency/strain/time with G'
and G" viscoelastic response data.
Haake RS1 Rheometer:
A lower cost system with similar capabilities but less modularity is also available - the
RheoStress 1.
